Our footprint
What is a footprint?
Every Sector Skills Council has a "footprint" which defines which areas of the workforce that Sector Skills Council covers. We refer to the types of workers we represent as our footprint.
CWDC works in the interest of over 500,000 people working with children, young people, families and carers in England and around 250,000 volunteers. Of these 500,000 workers, 80 per cent are employed and 20 per cent are self-employed.
