Occupational Group Fund
The occupational group fund (OGF) is now in its third year and continues to provide funding to organizations which will support CWDC to achieve some of the key aims and priorities outlined in our business plan - in particular, the aim of encouraging all those who work with children, young people and families to see themselves as one workforce.

Celebrating the work of the Occupational Group Fund
Joining forces is a fantastic celebration of the innovative work that has taken place on our Occupational Group Fund (OGF) scheme to date. Twelve cases studies and narratives recording and celebrating the achievements of OGF funded projects are featured in this engaging publication. The scope of the projects is wide and varied, but all demonstrate the dynamic ways in which workforce issues have been addressed in order to improve children’s lives and embed integrated working.

OGF review
CWDC is also conducting a review of the OGF programme, again in collaboration with an independent consultancy, to establish to what extent it has achieved its aim of promoting the workforce reform agenda within the children’s workforce to encourage a more integrated approach to work with children, young people and families work across occupational groups and sectors.
The review will also establish whether there were any secondary outcomes for the OGF programme, and if so, what they were and to what extent they have been achieved.
An executive summary of the review will be available online early in the New Year.
