SSA stages and reports

Each SSA consists of five stages...

The first three stages are research stages which build a picture of the current and future skills of the children's workforce. Stages 4 and 5 involve the development of a costed action plan detailing how we will develop the skills required for the future.

The final reports from the research stages are now available:

• CWDC Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) - April 2008
  This is the final agreement in full.
• Delivering 'The Big Deal' - Stage 1-3 summary - December 2007
  This is a short and concise summary of the first three research stages.
• Stage 1: Skills Needs Assessment report
  This report provides an assessment of what future skills are required by the children's workforce.
• Stage 2: Understanding Supply report
• This report looks a what training and qualifications are currently available across the children's workforce.
• Stage 3: Gap analysis report
  This report compares skills demand and supply and makes recommendations for the future.
